we are having the community garage sale tomorrow and saturday. a good opportunity to get rid some of our junks such as old toys, nadja's old clothes, my old clothes and other stuff. hiks..for me, they're "the old time faves"... but..they gotta go!!
lets just hope it wont rain for the next two days.

waktu gue lagi di chicago kemaren nih..kan tiap hari berkali2 gue telponin...salah satu percakapan di telpon yg gue inget :

NADJA dan BOO...
waktu itu gue dan hubby lagi bawa nadja ke salah satu toko mainan gede di mall...seperti biasa, Nadja dengan gaya favouritenya..pig tails alias kuncir dua. waktu kita lagi ngantri di cashier..tiba2 celana jeans gue ditarik2 ama salah satu anak cowo kecil *kira2 umur 6 tahunan*
"excuse me, Maam..I just think that your little girl looks like Boo from the Monsters Inc movie"
hahahha..gue langsung ngakak and say
thank you..abis tu anak kecil kayaknya lucu banget gaya bicaranya..and he had guts to came up to me and say that.

disney store...wkt itu lagi sale 75%..kalo ga salah jadi cuman $5an gitu...kayaknya masih sale sampe sekarang.. Boo-nya Nadja ini ga bisa ngomong (buseettt..punya satu "Bu' Nadja" aja udah cerewetnya minta ampun apalagi dua heheh)
setelah kita pikir2 lagi..hihi emang rada mirip si nadja sama si boo apalagi kalo lagi kunciran dua gitu....

being Lil' Miss Polite
one of the important things we always teach Nadja is to always be a polite little girl. From the simple "Hello" ... "How are you?" ..."thank you" ..."you're welcome".... "good morning/selamat pagi".... " i love you back"..... or "god bless you" when she hears someone sneezes...
this is one of nadja's faves : if someone says "bye" to her.. she goes "good bye! take care! be careful! be good!"
It is always nice to hear some strangers give compliments that our little girl has well manners.. followed by the "how old is she- and oh, she is only 2.5 year old???!!"
She is learning and trying to say things correctly..which we dont really care because that's the cutest thing about it!!!
This is one of Nadja's Things that I really dont want to change :

took a day off...went to the federal building (downtown) today...jalan2 ama nadja dan nyokap bokap keliling downtown . lunch di mykonos market square. the food was good, as usual.

ini dari arden B...untungnya lagi sale.....lucky me! dipake nya baguuuuuuuuuuuus banget!!!
o iya...gue lagi suka banget minis-nya HOLLISTER atau ABERCROMBIE..rada2 mirip sih harganya juga hampir sama.

this morning, rob's great grandma died at the age of 99.
we were supposed to go to Florida to visit her for her 100th birthday in Feb 2004 so that Nadja can see her GREAT GREAT GRANDMA. five generations all together.
tapi...Yang Diatas menentukan lain.
it is sad that Nadja and I never got the chance to see her...
Goodbye Grandma, you are in a much better place now. We love you!

Hilton Tower South Michigan Avenue in the a.m. Rooms got upgraded to mini suites. Awesome!

- lunch @ Thai Pastry in Broadway
- Cruisin' around the town ... Lake Shore Drive, Navy Pier, Armitage,Lincoln then ended up @ Dian's in Belmont.
Very cozy house!
- Back to Hilton
- Dinner @ Lindo's Mexican with plenty of margaritas
- Back to Hilton sorta just hangin' out @ the bar ...Kitty's O Sheas.
Made new friends..two georgeous girls HEAVEN and TIFF *you 2 are awesome !!*

Sepanjang jalan kenangannnnnn.... Took the cab back to the hotel passing The Radisson..which we (again) realized that it is behind the Magnificent Mile . Right next to Enzo's boutique.
