saturday..we went to target to buy gifts for keely's bridal shower next week. mike and keely are registered @ kaufmann's and target. so we went to target first and get her stuff from her registry list. we were going to go to kauffmans to get her more gifts but nadja was really tired and didnt have her nap yet..so we went home instead. we'll go sometimes next week.i want to get her some nice gifts ...keely and mike are good friends to us. they were the one who threw us a baby shower when i was pregnant.

...and yes I was a wuss!
its been a little bit over a month since i had my piercieng. had the intention to do so since dec'. wanted to do something to start my '03. amy and gina was supposed to take me to the tattoo parlor but amy had a class that day. she said sorry for not being able to go. she said to Gina : Just hold Dwi's hand when she gets scared.ahhhh so sweet. i was so nervous about the whole situation. had no idea how that would work and feel. so we drove to downtown. UNIQUE INK- a very nice parlor, very clean...not a scary one like what i had imagined. (i have been to the one in Paris and Bali..both were scary). In the car, Gina was like : IF you backed out of this, I swear I am gonna kick your butt!!
so when we walked from the parking lot ..i stopped for a second and told her : I wanna go home.
Man, you should see her face and she rolled her eyes on me. Soon I said : Gotcha!!
The guy was really nice..Joe was his name...we talked a lil bit..he was trying to make me feel comfortable. After signing the paper and showing my ID, he started to prepare things and put a mark on my belly button.. he asked me to lay down. and started cleaning it. i was so nervous I talked too -too much. I was like asking what his name was, telling Gina how nervous I was..if it was going to hurt? how bad? blah blah blah..
Gina said that I should just chill out.."if u went through childbirth.. I am sure u can handle this."
And so I yelled..." I had a c-section, damn it!"
Gina held my hand...I squeezed real hard...Then Joe asked me to hold my breath real quick and he pinched . *AAAAAAAAWWWWWWW...*
I had prepared myself a few words , more like 'OUCH' or 'ADUH' or 'HURTTTTTT'..something cute...hehehe..but of course, these two words came out unexpectedly : HOLY SH*T!!!
In the end,it looked amazingly cute on my belly. I was so happy.
Frankly, It didnt hurt..not as bad as I thought it would be.
he did a very good job.
Like I said...I was just a wuss.

'lagu paling ngga romantis yang ter-romantis'
eh iya, sampe lupa...today i had a cook-out. i made beef brisket with potato and cabbage and asparagus for side dish. i started cooking like around 9am. the beef has to be put in a slow cooker for at least 6-8 hours. first try-out! and the food turned out amazing. i invited the in-laws to join us for dinner. so they came. nadja,as usual, is always in charge for entertaining. so she put music on and danced in front of her grandparents. funny to see how much energy she has!!! she finally 'settle down' after i asked her to stop dancing because we wanted to start eating. everybody enjoyed the food. it was quite a nice meal. we watched a movie and then they left .
and there I was.....with a pile of dishes in the sink!
malemnya...karaoke with ardi..giling...had some dangdut touch for the night too. i had fun.
we were pretty good though.

gue mo cerita nih ttg new year an kemaren. kemarenn?? kemaren dulu kaliiikkkkk..idih dah lama bgt.
anyway, we tried to find a babysitter for new year's eve so rob and I could go out partying with friends. but of course, no one was available to babysit. but whats a new year celebration without us being together anyway. huh, we got the point! some friends invited us to some parties, but we had to choose the one that we could bring nadja with. note to self : she is SO under age!
so we decided to accept the invitation from our best friends...most of them just got married last year and some just got engaged. none of them have kids yet. but will someday. so they understand. they all love nadja and think of her as 'an entertainment centre'. so there we were ..had our reservation for dinner. matt and tracy, kelly and shawn, angela and mark, justin and bobbi, rob and I , and of course nadja. yes, she was the-tag-along kid. i had a couple of martinis and some seafood. we all had fun. rob did. i did. nadja had a blast. there's nothing better than hanging out with mommy's and daddy's friends on new year's eve. and she got to stay up late!
so off to matt and tracy's apartment. hung out, played jenga, laughed our asses off...waited for the ball to dropped. few minutes after the ball dropped...nadja started to scratch her eyes and yawned a lot. time for us to hit home.
we had fun doing whatever we were doing that night.
lame? of course not.
rob had his big parties

a beautiful day...its about time we get our 50degrees back..everybody has had enough snow
stopped @ doug's house because Rob had to help him with something. I said hi to darlene and gave big hugs for brianna and kendall. brianna just turned 4 yesterday.
sady , the dog, as usual ..jumped on me and scared the hell out of me.
i should've used to that by now. but..heck no!
then went to greensburg with rob and nadja
i bought a pink puma tiny shirt for me and a red levi's shirt for nadja and an arnold doll .

oh..i am having 'babies sleepover' tonight. Lily,2 year, is staying @ my place because her mommy and daddy are going out. I told them not to worry and to just have fun..the kids will be fine and will be in bed by 10pm. Poor Gina never went out eversince Lily was born..
So since i am not going anywhere nor doing anything tonite ..i offered Lily to sleepover instead.

~in search of a hermes bag~
a friend of amriel needs help to find her a Hermes Birkin handbag. they want me to help and see if i can do something. so i volunteered myself. i personally find these hermes bags very interesting. not just because of the price people are paying for those. but the craziness of spending 20grand just to have one hermes. what's hermes? who is hermes?
i emailed sonita to get a little info. and she called.how nice! she said to call hermes boutique in SF and talk to one of the sales. The girl called her couple days ago and said that they have a few hermes birkin on floor. so I called...and of course the bags are already gone. sold for around $6,000 EACH...i repeat...EACH. huh?
sonita called me back and asked if the girl treated me nice. she did. as if i was kate moss buying a denim hermes bag. yeah right! funny thing is, we should maintain a good relationship to her, the hermes boutique sales girl, so she will give us a call when they get new bags in.
so again, we called her. thank god for 3-way-calling.sonita asked her few things and i gave the girl my phone number. she promised to call.

the phone rang.that was alysha saying they just got one hermes matte alligator skin and put it on floor..its gold colour....size 35..and going for $19,100.
too bad we were looking for ostrich/croco hermes...between $6,000-$8,000..so nineteen thousand and one hundred is a little too high.
