...and yes I was a wuss!
its been a little bit over a month since i had my piercieng. had the intention to do so since dec'. wanted to do something to start my '03. amy and gina was supposed to take me to the tattoo parlor but amy had a class that day. she said sorry for not being able to go. she said to Gina : Just hold Dwi's hand when she gets scared.ahhhh so sweet. i was so nervous about the whole situation. had no idea how that would work and feel. so we drove to downtown. UNIQUE INK- a very nice parlor, very clean...not a scary one like what i had imagined. (i have been to the one in Paris and Bali..both were scary). In the car, Gina was like : IF you backed out of this, I swear I am gonna kick your butt!!
so when we walked from the parking lot ..i stopped for a second and told her : I wanna go home.
Man, you should see her face and she rolled her eyes on me. Soon I said : Gotcha!!
The guy was really nice..Joe was his name...we talked a lil bit..he was trying to make me feel comfortable. After signing the paper and showing my ID, he started to prepare things and put a mark on my belly button.. he asked me to lay down. and started cleaning it. i was so nervous I talked too -too much. I was like asking what his name was, telling Gina how nervous I was..if it was going to hurt? how bad? blah blah blah..
Gina said that I should just chill out.."if u went through childbirth.. I am sure u can handle this."
And so I yelled..." I had a c-section, damn it!"
Gina held my hand...I squeezed real hard...Then Joe asked me to hold my breath real quick and he pinched . *AAAAAAAAWWWWWWW...*
I had prepared myself a few words , more like 'OUCH' or 'ADUH' or 'HURTTTTTT'..something cute...hehehe..but of course, these two words came out unexpectedly : HOLY SH*T!!!
In the end,it looked amazingly cute on my belly. I was so happy.
Frankly, It didnt hurt..not as bad as I thought it would be.
he did a very good job.
Like I said...I was just a wuss.
on the way home-in the car
gina : I am so proud of you, girl.
dwi : shut up!
