ONCE UPON A TIME... 
...there was a beautiful Princess named Nadja who lived in a beautiful castle. Nearby, there was a beautiful garden with one tiny wee pond.
'Twas one day when Princess Nadja was playing by the pond and whispered " I wish I have a little brother to play with and for me to love. I promise I will love him and take care of him forever and ever"
Suddenly, one little frog jumped onto the Princess' lap and said " Ribbit! Good morning Princess Nadja. My name is Aidan. Beautiful day indeed, isn't it? But why the long face? Ribbit!"
"Oh hello, dear Frog...uuuummm, I mean.. Aidan. How are you today? Well, I frowned because I just thought how grand it would be to have a little brother" said the Princess.
"Oh oh oh. I would love to love to love to love to be a brother of a beautiful and kind-hearted Princess like you!" Aidan the Frog said.
"You would?" Asked the Princess.
"Who wouldn't oh my lovely Princess? I promise I'll be a good brother. On one condition though. Ribbit! You must give me a smooch on the cheek and I will forever be your little brother."
"For real?"
"For real! Ribbit!"
Princess Nadja then put the frog on her hand and gave him a smooch on the cheek.
Swoosh! The frog then suddenly turned into a very cute little Prince. Prince Aidan, that is.
....And they lived happily ever after.

so oct 31's done. for us it was more of a play dress-up day. we had a very busy weekend. Friday we took the kids to the mall. they had trick or treatin' nite from 6-8pm. nadja couldn't decide what she wanted to be until the last minute. at first, she wanted to be this girl:
but then when she got a bunch of princess dresses for her bday, she changed her mind. she, of course, wanted to be a princess. then she changed her mind again the last minute. the only thing i bought was the pink wig. that was all i had.So I just grabbed one of her pink dresses, a white t-shirt, a pair of white stockings and her shoes. And there, she-was-almost-stephanie. I put on a policeman costume for Aidan. It says BABY PATROL. the mall was packed. people were in costumes and most stores gave away candies and stickers and tattoos and coupons. looked like Nadja and Aidan were the only two wearing those costumes. There were a lot of princesses though.

Saturday, at noon, hubby and I had an appointment
here to get the kids' pics taken. Finally they got to wear their princess and frog prince costume. Christine&Jeff got Nadja that dress as her bday present. I bought Aidan's frog suit and made my own crown out of gold fabric I got from WalMart. Just sew it on and voila! That was actually what Aidan wore for Nadja's princess/bday party.
The kids had soooooooooooooo much fun at the photo studio. Nadja definitely knew what she was doing and Aidan had a blast. He kept giggling and laughing and gave us the best smiles. People that were shopping walked pass the studio and stopped to look through the window and watched these two kids in action. Hahahaha...
I love that place, they took really good pictures. This was Aidan's first studio experience. Nadja had hers taken there a lot.
After the photo session, off we went to
for Derek's bday.
Went home, took a rest for 2 hours and headed up to Shawn&Kelly's for a party. It was a fun party. Everyone really had the effort of dressing up. The kids had so much fun but it surely was a long day for them.
Sunday, I took Nadja shopping. I was looking for some retro/vintage posters for the dining room. I already have 6 or 7 of them but found and bought 5 more so that should covered up the one side wall. Hubby and pap pap (hubby's dad) took Aidan to Lowe's and Sears for some tools. Thats right. Girls do their own thing. Boys do their own thing. Girls rule boys drool! Hehehe...

Lupa cerita hari Sabtu last weekend itu abis potong rambut, malemnya gue nge date ma hubby. Anak2 spent time with their grandma (mom in law). Dah gitu semaleman itu pas dinner yg diputer lagu diatas itu berulang2. Dirty dancing baybeeee... And I cant get that song out of my head..eversince.
Hmmmm...sekarang dah hari Minggu lagi. Dah seminggu gue berambut baru pendek. Tadi malem gue ngumpul2 with the girls, Marlyne came from Pitts so we all had dinner and went out. With them, its never a dull moment. Sannnjriiiiiiitttt dingin banget tadi malem! Hubby bawa Nadja main bowling dan karena ujan seharian, Aidan tinggal di rumah dan kita minta tolong hubby's grandma to come over and watch him.
We're baby sitting Naomi(she's 8) until Monday. Kata hubby (dari tadi malem) Nadja dan Naomi loncat2 nyanyi2 joget2 di play room di atas. Hari ini more likely kita nggak ngapa2in. Bakal hujan seharian and there's a football game in the afternoon. So y'all know what hubby wants me to do every Sunday when its game day...get Aidan in his football gear!!!

I had a hair cut last Saturday.
What was I thinking?? Kwaaaaaaa.. I miss my long-hair!!
But I had to. Remember the story of me
going bald loosing hair?
'Nyhoo, this is how I look now.
My stylist was really workin' on me that day. First she did the shoulder-cut then that Jayla-cut. She did real awesome with that Jayla-cut. It looked exactly the same but I told her to chop off some more and make it shorter. What the heck. So there you go...
And as you can see, I am back to basic with this blog. Nothing fancy but its quite alright. (it is still a mess though. i lost all of my links from the old skin and i dont know how to change the shoutbox. the bottom one where y'all put your name and msgs. help, anyone?) Although I looooooooved the old skin, my blog needed new face. Well, bye bye

Ms. Nad had her picture taken at school today. I cant wait to see how the pictures turn out to be and what she looks like.
As for Tuan Aidan, he still have that red rash on his cheeks every other day. We still can't figure out if he is allergic to something. And he loooooooooooooves mashed potato that mommy made. Well, actually, he loves anything, including anything-he-can-grab-and-put-in-his-mouth.

first off, look what i've found when i was diggin out a big box full of my old shoes (never opened eversince we moved to our new house). taaaaaaa daaaaaaaaa!
I completely forgot that I even own them. What I remember was the fact that I bought them right before I found out that I was pregnant with baby Aidan. At that moment, of course I was shocked and happy at the same time but did slightly cross my mind that I'd never going to wear the heels that i just bought for a reeeeeeally long time. Hiks. No hard feelings Aidan honey. Y'all know how i feel about high heels and y'know how my hubby feels about me pregnant wearing high heels. Big NO-NO. He even yelled at me for wearing kitten heels. "Flats, Hon. F.L.A.T.S! Why you never wanna wear tennis shoes anyway?"
Tennis shoes? Are you kidding me?! Blah!!!
'nyways, I got to wear these pointed pretty babies (see above pictures) when I went out for lunch with PARA IBU IBU two weeks ago. We ended up going to PFChangs and walked around the shopping mall all day. We left around 11am and I got home at 10.30pm (well, the mall is about an hour drive from here and there was carpooling involved). Hahaha. Yes, those are my tired feet after walking around so much. People probably thought that I was a complete idiot for camwhoring my own feet.

Last weekend hubby got me two movies. I am a big sucker when it comes to cheesy movies.
Watched that with hubby. With all due respect, honey...I. LOVE. MVARTAN. C'mon now. No need further explanations. Its him we're talking about. RRRRRRRrrrrrrrrr. Arriba arriba! Ms. Bootyliciousjlo is somewhat so plain.
Oh, check this out! And this ! Dont miss this! Well, ok, one more for your eyes only...Ya know what i'm sayin? the dimples the hair and all? *goosebumps*
Ash, oh my god those LIPS, for the love of God! APeet looks weird and old and whats up with the wigs, dude? Well, who care about her while I got those LIPS all over my tv screen.
Now y'all know how I review movies. Hah!
You know whats funny though? I first saw eerrr watched MVartan and APeet back in 1996 (i think). They both in TouchMe. If i'm not mistaken it is a 1992 movie. I remember I made my cousin and my dear friend Amriel watch it over and over and over and over again. I was hysterical to see him played as a doctor on tv with Joey, Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe. It was like love at first sight with MVartan. I love him ever since. Up til now. Even though he is now, like, seventy-three thirty-seven or something?
Tuesday, I went to the mall with Gina. I know what you all thinking. Mall again? Well, its the risk you're taking when you're living in this La la land. What else can you do during the day besides going to the mall (its like j-town with its PIM and PS all over again). Not to mention in cold weather , mind you. No beach, no sand, the sun doesnt even like to stick around too much anymore. Well, I havent seen Gina in ages. It was good to see her again and catching up on how our lives been. She did mention or was it a 'friendly reminder' of when she took me to the tattoo&piercing parlour years ago and how scared I was to get my belly button pierced. I held her hands like I'd never let go. Haha! I quote "Girl, I'd never forget that moment when I told you to chill and said that if you went through child birth this piercing is a piece of cake. Then you screamed GINA, I HAD A C SECTION, DAMN IT!!!!"

Berawal dari sehari setelah pesta ultah Nadja, Bubba (that's what Nadja calls her grandma-my mom in law) took her to see Alladin (the play) at the palace theater. I cant describe how happy Nadja when she told me about the story. She remembered how it went and remembered all the names. " I can't believe the lady in the ticket booth knows that I am a princess too, mom! She said that I must be a princess and that I look like Princess Jasmine from the play". Mom in law smiled and nodded. Mom said that when they played "A Whole New World", Nadja screamed "Hey my mom loooooves that song!". She's been singing it eversince.
My gosh, it was 1992 when the song was first out. That was like 13 years ago. I was 16 (ehm!) and innocent ( I still am). Ha ha! Who knows 13 years after, I'd be singing it with my 5 year old daughter. Its like another version of me singing some of the KC & The Sunshine, Barry White or The Bee Gees oldies songs with my mom.

Ok ok, lets not get too carried away.
Went to W.Mart and got Nadja that. The platinum collection, limited edition. I bought the set one that includes the CD with some disney songs( incl. that Aladdin song) It just came out today. Dont even ask how many Cinderella (and other princesses) movies she has now. All different versions, the same happy-ending. The pretty and kind hearted princess found her soul mate and her missing blahnik shoe.
Anyway, she's been playing and singing this song over and over and over and over and over and over again, I think we all (except her) could use some ear muffs.
