sickness sucks
went to see the family doctor during my lunch break. the sore throat started to get on my nerves. the doctor said that it might be
just allergies. no signs of infections or something else serious. i still thought that it is the cold/flu. i told him i am leaving in couple days so i need a good medicine to kick out the virus or whatever the hell it is that making me me feel like sh*it. he said, just take some allergy pills and if it wont go away by wednesday, i have to call him back.
why cant he just give me the damn antibiotic for heaven's sakes!!!???
friday nite took nadja to the carnival ..and then went to kara and barry's for a little get together deck party . it was so damn cold. i think that was how i got sick.
three more days to go and i still feel like sh*it !!!

guess what? got a call from the talent agency for a casting. same agency that called for the GE tv commercial. couldnt go to the GE casting because I was really sick. found out that this one is for ELIMIDATE one of the cheesy tv shows..couldnt help laughing when she told me. i told her that maybe she forgot that I am married with a child. then, hey I got 'elimidated' right away! ;)
alright, enough laughing already! it's embarrassing alright!

happy but sad
I finally got the ticket from
here. I am leaving to chicago the 26th-30th June to meet some friends. I am so happy for this trip, but on the other hand...very sad that I have to leave my minime home.
I am sure she'll be fine with daddy, my mom and my dad. They will keep her busy going to the mall, zoo, park or even just playing outside. Heck, I am just making myself feel better.

early morning me and nadja gave the fathers day gifts for rob and my dad.
note to my dad : thank you for everything. I love you!! Nadja gave Rob a shirt with a print " fishing with dad" and a pic of a lil kid with the father fishing on a boat. So Rob took nadja to go shopping and got Nadja her very own real fishing pole. It is pink and very cute. Later on that day...me , rob, nadja, my mom and my dad, went to KS to go fishing. YAY! I am not a big fan of sitting by the pond/lake waiting for some fish. But today was definitely fun...happy little Nadja got 2 fish of her own.
Way to go Nadja!!!!!
oh, we didnt keep the fish. We let them go.

naDja and her very first dancing class
Rob and I are just SO proud of Nadja!!!! I signed her up for a dancing class *tiny tots* at one of the dancing academies close to home. The class (gymnastics, tap dancing, basic of balet, etc for toddlers) is every Saturday morning for the whole summer.
"Do you want to go to the dancing school?"
She got so excited and yelled "Yeaaaahhhh! I want to go dancing!!!"
I was so afraid and nervous that she would got scared with the whole thing and back out.
She was so cute wearing a baby blue body suit with a white tight and her hair pony tailed with the matching baby blue hair bow. Cuuuuuteeeee.
The teacher (or instructor) came up to nadja. I told Nadja to introduce herself.
" The name is Nadja Faith"...hehhehe too funny, it made me and Rob laugh.
" Well Nadja (Nadia, she pronounced)..My name is Marie but all the kids can call me Miss Marie..are you ready ?"
"Oh ok Miss Marie..I am ready" grabbed Miss Marie's hand and walked in the class room.
But, Nadja...she just walked in the class room after saying goodbye to me and Rob...no crying, no clinging to us scared..no nothing...as if she was a big girl. I was the one being a cry baby, trying hard not to cry when I told her to have lots of fun.
Parents are not allowed in the class room because they are the main reason for the kids distraction. You know how kids got so "Oh, I want my mommy to hold my hand while I am dancing" type of thing.
So me and Rob were just standing behind this big glass window...and trying to peek how Nadja was doing in the class. There were only one other little girl in the class and she is 5 year old. I had a talk with her mom. We both agreed that it is better to have less kids in the class so that the kids can get full attention from Miss Marie. You get private lesson class but paying less.
Nadja was doing so good , she was doing everything that the teacher told her to * although sometimes her dancing moves were kinda dorkey hehehhe..hey, give her a break she is only 2!!! *. She was excellent doing stretching, man, her body is like a pretzel!
We couldnt help laughing and crying at the same time *hiks* watching her from the window realizing how big our lil Nadja is now.
When the clas is over she came to us with the biggest smile and said "Can I do it again, please? I wanna do it again daddy!"
We had a hard time telling her that the next class was for the bigger kids..that she can always come back next Saturday...
We stopped by Mc Donalds to get her a happy meal..she was happy and telling us stories about her new "thing" all the way home.
Today was a cute day...thats all I can say.
ps : my 'girls nite out' with Gina was really fun..met a lot of people at sharky's. We both were kinda tired so we called it a nite a little bit after midnite.

whoever says MONDAY always SUCKS, you are SO damn right!!!
i was running around like crazy at work on Monday...maaaaan..that was horrible! Had to send the ads up. Then the Application Modules didnt work with me pretty good when I tried to build the batch. Sent the tpr's off batch, verify the Fleming's bills, (again) worked with the ads. It seemed that things weren't working right with me that day!!!
Slightly crossed in my mind , 'Oh please, would someone just punch me in the nose so I could just go home' ...but oh well, never did happen..and that would be a big
ouch to have someone punch your nose..hey...at least the insurance company would probably pay for a nose job..might as well!!!
Though I feel so much better after reading this (joke) email...Hey!!! My job isn't that bad after all.......
Hi Sue, Just another note from your bottom-dwelling brother. Last week I had a bad day at the office.I know you've been feeling down lately at work, so I thought I would share my dilemma with you to make you realize it's not so bad after all. Before I can tell you what happened to me, I first must bore you with a few technicalities of my job. As you know, my office lies at the bottom of the sea. I wear a suit to the office. It's a wetsuit. This time of year the water is quite cool. So what we do to keep warm is this: We have a diesel powered industrial water heater. This $20,000 piece of equipment sucks the water out of the sea. It heats it to a delightful temperature. It then pumps it down to the diver through a garden hose, which is taped to the air hose. Now this sounds like a darn good plan, and I've used it several times with no complaints. What I do, when I get to the bottom and start working, is take the hose and stuff it down the back of my wetsuit. This floods my whole suit with warm water. It's like working in a Jacuzzi.
Everything was going well until all of a sudden, my butt started to itch. So, of course, I scratched it. This only made things worse. Within a few seconds my butt started to burn. I pulled the hose out from my back, but the damage was done. In agony I realized what had happened. The hot water machine had sucked up a jellyfish and pumped it into my suit. Now since I don't have any
hair on my back, the jellyfish couldn't stick to it. However, the crack of my butt was not as fortunate. When I scratched what I thought was an itch, I was actually grinding the jellyfish into the crack of my butt. I informed the dive supervisor of my dilemma over the communicator.His instructions were unclear due to the fact that he, along with five other divers, were all laughing hysterically. Needless to say Iaborted the dive. I was instructed to make three agonizing in-waterdecompression stops totaling thirty-five minutes before I could reach the surface to begin my chamber dry decompression. When I arrived at the surface, I was wearing nothing
but my brass helmet. As I climbed out of the water, the medic, with tears of laughter running down his face, handed me a tube of cream and told me to rub it on my b*tt as soon as I got in the chamber. The cream put the fire out, but I couldn't poop for two days because my butt was swollen shut. So, next time you're having a bad day at work, think about how much worse it would be if you had a jellyfish shoved up your butt. Now repeat to yourself. "I love my job, I love my job, I love my job..."

Saturday, me and rob went to st vincent for michael and keely's wedding ceremony. It was such a beautiful ceremony. Keely looked so pretty in her wedding dress. Congratulations you guys! we love you both!!!
Off to the wedding reception after the ceremony. It was at this Country Inn..a very nice place..They did good on the decoration.
Sunday afternoon, nadja and me got invited to Denise's baby shower. Denise and Eric will have a baby boy real soon. It was a really nice shower. Nadja enjoyed playing with the other kids, eating cakes and playing in the backyard. Denise got a lot of nice gifts. I had fun with Tracy, Kelly, Angela and the mom-to-be.
We just got home from Denise's in about an hour ago. I put Nadja for a nap cause we have another party to go to. It is Lily's Birthday party. She turns two. Hey! It is almost time to go to Lily's ...I have to wake Nadja up and get her ready. I guess I will write more later !!! tootle-doo!!!

DAFFA REYZA RAFIF
Luuuuuuuuuuuuuucuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu banget anak satu itu. Ini keponakan gue (yang baru) satusatunya. Lahir tgl 28 Agustus 2002. Anak nya abang gue & mbak ipar gue yang cantik dan baik hati. Namanya lucu yah...by the way, nama tengahnya, REYZA, itu dari gue lho.
Hobbynya main air..berenang..kecipak kecipuk kegirangan..hobby satu laginya..jalan2..apalagi ke mall ...
Kemaren ini dia baru terima mainan2 dan baju2 yg gue kirim dari sini...denger2 dia seneng banget dan heboh main dengan mainan2 barunya.
Mukanya sangar...macho banget dengan kepala botaknya..tapi kalo udah digendong dan diajak bersenandung lagu2 mellow,dia langsung termehek-mehek kasih muka yang sediiiiiiih gitu. Kalo kata abang gue :
"Daffa tuh muka Rambo hati Rinto".
Sedihnya, dari daffa lahir, sampe skrg ini..gue
belumpernah liat dia. nyokap bawa banyak foto2 daffa yang lucu lucu...gue ngeliatnya sampe gemes.Nadja kalo liat foto Daffa langsung bilang gini : "This is my brother...
the name is Daffa" (biar udah diralat ''cousin''...kekeuh dia bilang brother..sok akrab yah..heheh)
