forgot to mention this , y'all know that the ppl at work call me Nook1e...started one day when I asked them what it means because a friend of mine got me this shirt with big NooK1E print on it. I had no clue what it means until they started giggling and told me. So of course , I came up with this crazy idea whether I should/shouldnt wear it to our 'outting' ..
and there I was...entering the room full of those lunatics....wearing my white t-shirt with Nook1e print on it..everyone screamed : NOOOOOOOOOOOOK11111111EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! and busted out laughing...

PRETTY BUSY WEEKENDZZ - ONE FRIDAY TO ANOTHER

LAST FRIDAY
all started when we had to take my dad to the airport, yeah...he went home. Sad but we'll see each other soon. From the airport me mom hubby and nad went to IKEA. We got a new tv stand. Stopped at MYKONOS for their delicious gyros....sluuuuuuurp . Kinda hung out a little bit at the Market Square while Nadja was trying to feed all the birds in the entire park. I mean, ALL! She loves to feed the birds..."Hey birds...catch this..eat that...bye bye birds, I go home..see you next time"

got home , everyone was beat.. I, on the other hand, had to go with the peeps from work for an "outting". It was our "so called pizza and booze nite". Nothing but pizza and booze at TOC. about 15-20 people from work were there. We had fun, laughing our asses off and had to wait until the last minute they closing the resto before we get our asses up and leave the place. rob was busy putting the new tv stand together til midnite.

SATURDAY
Amy invited me to Jon's party. So there I went with Gina and Amanda, they picked me up. Rob let us have our fun and didnt want to join , he was too busy with his project...making stuffed jalapeno peppers. Our neighbor who happens to be his co worker gave us bunch of hot-crazy-hot jalapenos. So he was busy stuffing those peppers wearing latex gloves.
So off we went to Jon's party. Amy was there...pretty much hypered up and tipsy. Kelly and Dwayne were there, plus bunch of people that I dont really know but have seen around.
It was quite fun.

We left the party and went to Babe's right after Amanda got the call. The place was packed and some of Rob's friends were there so I was so happy to see them. Shawn and Kelly, Marty, Michael and more. They bought me drinks for my bday!!! My boss and his friends were there. It was really fun.

THE NEXT FRIDAY

My other best friends : Imelda,Gina (another Gina) and Malou took me out for my birthday. We were supposed to go to SHOGUN for dinner but then of course, we changed our mind. I was in charged to find a new (or never have tried) happening place. So there I was giving this idea about having our dinner at Lemongrass, now named Bangkok Balcony located at Forbes Avenue- Squirrel Hill . I did great job on choosing the place. Lemongrass is a fun place to be. Awesome food and the funky place and bar beat them all. The crowd in the resto make the place even a better place. We, as usual, always become 'laper mata' and got crazy ordering the food. Satay, tom yam, pad thai, thai iced tea and mango juice - always a must when you go to Thai restos. Then we had few more main courses. Yeah, like I said, got crazy.

After dinner, we didnt really want to get up and leave the place, it was just too fun to stay. Afterwards we walked down the squirrel hill ... there are a lot of small shops and small restos/cafes along the Forbes Ave and Murray Ave.

After Squirrel Hill...we drove around downtown...the carnegie melon uni was packed..something going on with the sorority and frat peeps, we guessed. All wearing their own alpha-omega-betha-whatever shirt.

Finally, ... decided to just hang out around the Station Square. MATRIX was full, as usual, being one of the happening places with 4 different clubs inside. Then hit Hard Rock Cafe for some daiquiries, martinis and chips+guacamole. About 2 am..we had to call it the nite. The party was just begun in Pitts, but we were all too tired from working all day and we were too big of the party poopers *lol*

THE NEXT SATURDAY
Went shopping all day with hub and nad and mom.

Thanks for those of you who made my 2 weekends unforgetable. cheers!!!
