A MOMENT IN FRONT OF AN ADULT STORE
Hari ini gue keFederal Bldg di downtown...ke INS tepatnya...berhubung my I 551 has been approved. Karena hubby tadi ngga kerja, kita pergi berdua. Sampe sana udah jam 10.15..padahal appointment gue jam 10.30. So, gue turun depan building...dan hubby markir. The appointment went easy. Gak seperti yg org2 bilang..(i.e lamaaaa..officernya jutek dan bawel...musti diinterview dan ditanya macem2). Begitu gue nyampe..nama gue langsung dipanggil..nyerahin semua dokumen..did the fingerprints..tanda tangan sana sini..and I was done!!!Easy like the Sunday morning. It took me 5 minutes, approximately. So gue nunggu kira2 15menit sampe hubby nyusul naik ke atas. Lama banget markir aja! Ternyata, all the parking garage were full. So he had to park 6 blocks away. Huh, ada apa dengan downtown hari ini? Biasanya, walo pun gak gampang2 amat nyari parkir..tapi paling nggak ya nggak begini. Gila hari ini dingiiiiiiiiiin banget lagi. So akhirnya kita jalan bedua menuju parking garage itu...it was so windy and so darn cold. And the worst part...itu sidewalk rada2 icy..and of course I had my pointed toe-stilletto on. After about 2 blocks gue nyerah deh..soalnya kaki gue yg sebelah kiri masih rada sakit..So I stopped and asked him *nicely* to just get the car and I just wait there right in front of a store.
Dijawab : NO!!!
Gue kesel dong...gile ni org gak sayang banget ama gue
"Dwi, you are standing right in front of an adult store!!!!!!!!!!"
lhaaaaaaa..ya pantes gak boleh...gue berenti nya (dan pengen nunggu) persis di depan toko gak jelas itu...dan itu toko (dari luar) menyeramkan gitu...bagian depannya warna2 ngejreng...dan tidak ada pemberitahuan (big sign kek) kalo itu 'toko dewasa'... laaaaaaah ngobrol doooong.
not like i've never been to one ;)..but that one WAS really scarry..
akhirnya...i walked down a few stores away and went into a "LESS" scary place called Liberty Tavern *home of the big 4ss burgers* (thats what it says on their big window) and got myself a cup of tea...TO GO!
