nadja baru 2 kali masuk sekolah udah musti bolos karena sakit. untungnya bukan flu, allergy aja kayaknya. kesian, she missed her first show and tell at school. it was 'bring something yellow'. she was going to bring her yellow school bag.
malemnya dia udah practice ke gue & daddy-nya. kurang lebih begini dia ngomongnya :
"hi my name is nadja. today i am bringing my yellow school bag. it has a picture of sesame street school bus with elmo, big bird, and cookie monster on it. my bunda bought it for me when I was a baby for when I go to school. bunda is my grandma from Indonesia. now I am big enough to go to school to 'wear'it".

nadja rada upset juga pagi2 wkt gue larang dia untuk sekolah, soalnya malemnya hidungnya meler terus, dan batuk ngga berenti. i knew better not to send her to school so other kids will not get what she had ( not knowing if it was a flu or allergy ). A wise thing to do! I hope all parents will be smart enough and also think about other kids in the class instead of sending the sick kid to school so they dont have to miss their work.
So Nad did miss 2 days of school that week.
The next day she went, daddy drove her, I wrote a little note for Mrs D (her teacher) saying that Nad is all better now but she was upset for not able to do the show and tell. She was all prepared. I also asked the teacher if it is okay for Nad to bring her 'yellow thing' next time she comes in so she can catch up. Mrs D said it is okay. Cool beans!
Had to go to downtown (4th avenue)with Julie. Udahannya lunch di mandarin lounge.
