these have been in my must haves list and i am so glad that bath&body works had them on their mid-year sale when i took the kids to the mall on
Wed. 6 bucks for the 8.5oz tube. heck, that's half off! Love love love the raspberry granita I can just eat it instead of using it as a body wash. Creme Brulee and Mango sorbet are awesome too!!!! They also had the candles on sale. Go figure, i went nuts! Bought lots of candles and some refills for my wallflowers plugs. I have so many candles at home. sweet pea and the warm vanilla sugar from whitebarncandle are still my number1 faves. I also like most of Henry Bendel's.
Nadja picked that cute little corduroy blazers for herself (hers is green olive instead of this color). She did good, I must say. It would be good for fall, I thought. I also bought a set of bar glasses as a gift for Amber's bridal shower.
Thursday was real fun. We had a cook out and invited mom&dad(rob's parents)and grandma(from hubby's dad). The birthday boy decided to grill some t-bones. They were probably about 16oz each. Yeah, really..tell me about it! It was a great dinner. All the food were delicious! One sad thing though, since hubby is always making sure that everybody got their food first and then he will make his the last. Right after we got ours and start eating he sit to join us. After we got done eating, we asked how his steak was and he said that he didnt get to eat one because he ran out of the prophane. He didnt want to tell us until we're done eating because he dont want us to feel bad or something. Aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww...
We took a little ride to the tobacco store to buy something for his dad. Hubby went in, and he got carded! I mean, on his birthday! The lady saw his DL and told him that he didnt even look 21 then wish him happy b'day. He told me he didnt even know whether he should be upset or happy. Hahaha!
*I am not laughing with you honey, i am laughing at you!*Saturday, Went to Amber's shower with mom(in law), grandma (mom's mom), aidan, nadja and aunt maggie. Aunt maggie is mom's older sister. Tell you what, she is the funniest person I have ever met. She loves to giggle and everything she does/says just seems so funny! She loves Nadja and Aidan soooooooooo much and they seem to enjoy her company. I do too!
After the shower we went home, and I called Sara. We were supposed to go out for dinner since her hubby's birthday was the same day as rob's. So we met up and headed to the bistro. And guess what, we both got carded (again) when we order drinks. We got that all the time but come on, its his birthday! After dinner they came over to our house to watch a movie. Mom was watching the kids until we get home. She took Nadja to see fireworks downtown and a sleepover at her place. I told her Aidan should just stay at home since he was already asleep. Nadja was so ready with all her babydolls and her little luggage. Hehehe. Oh, not to mention her lil bantal guling we bought in Jakarta. She was so excited because Sunday is always her date with grandma, either its going to go see a movie, shopping, go to Michael's for the kids art club or brunch.
