BUTTERFLIES IN HER LITTLE STOMACH
Yesterday was Nadja's first day stepping her little feet back in to her school (for orientation day) after the looooooooooooong summer holiday. She missed it so much and couldnt wait to see her teachers and her friends again. This year, she will be going 3 days a week.
So on our way to school she said :
"I have this funny feeling like I have butterflies in my stomach, Mom. I am sooooooooo excited to see Mrs D, Mrs M, my old friends and my new friends today!"The teachers are so happy to see Nadja is back this year. She went last year and they had a blast. So the teachers were afraid that they might not see Nadja again this year knowing that we recently bought a house and might enroll her to somewhere closer. Last year, everytime they got a chance to talk to us (either me or hubby), they always said how happy they are to have Nadja as their student.
"She is very helpful and waaaaaay too smart. She cares a lot with the people around her (classmates) and she was actually helping the younger kids with their speech ability". Mrs D and Mrs M decribed Nadja as "A sweet Little Person". They adore her. Just like we do.
NOT SO RANDOM THOUGHTS - AUGUST
# gue umur 29 skarang gitu looooooh. gimana rasanya? biasa aja. ntar aja nanya lagi kalo udah 30 ya. hehehe.
# nenek gue, Uci (as we all call her, the mother of my lovely mom) turned 93 the day after my birthday. I pretty much stole her birthday the minute I was born. Selamat ulang tahun ya Ciiiiii.. panjang umur dan sehat2 ya. I miss youuuuuuuuuu! *hiks*
# eh eh.. dapet kiriman dari teh Shanty di vegas. gudeg, pastel, arem2 (gila, cabe rawitnya itu looooh, nyaaaaam), klepon, kue lapis. ayo ayo...yg baca ini, si teteh terima pesenan lho. denger2 lagi bikin peyek dia skrg. heheh...makasih ya teh. me luv you long time deh pokoknya.
# what is it with sean john combs always changing his name? dari puff daddy ke p diddy ke "just" diddy. biar ringkes, gitu katanya. padahal skalian promosi gratis tambahbekendantambahtenargitulohya? besok2 ganti apalagi jo'? didung atau dudung atau mungkin didi biar lebih ringkes gitu ya. banyak loh di kampung halaman saya yg namanya didi. biar lebih asyik lagi bisa di pronounce 'dayday' (baca : daidai pake logat gaya anak betokaw sla'i) yg banyak di jumpai di grafiti gang gang senggol. dwi=duwai, cici=caicai...got it? dah ah, amat sangat gak penting!
